In our inaugural Panel Discussion, we invited representatives from various backgrounds to explore different perspectives of sexual harassment in school. With a spotlight on media and everyday discourse, the Panel Discussion attempts to address how representations and narratives of gender and power play a central role in the issue of sexual harassment.

 

By going beyond cases that have happened, the panel discussion explores the deep-rooted assumptions that often underlie ongoing conversations and our interactions with others in daily lives. Topics discussed range from rape myths and media framing, to social media advocacy and survivor-centred approaches.
